Sony Europe announced today that Life Space UX will now be available in the UK.
Life Space UX provides sensory impact using light, sound and vision applied in unexpected ways. It is defined by delivering unique audio and visual experiences and facilitating new ways to transform your living space.
The sleek Glass Sound Speaker fills every corner of your living space with warm illumination and crystal clear sound made possible through its organic glass. An LED housed within the cylinder combines ambient light with music. The vibration of the organic glassis close to that of human vocal chords and creates a uniquely lifelike sound experience.
With an impeccable reproduction of vocal and acoustic sounds, the Glass Sound Speaker evokes the sensation of music played live in the room. Lightweight, battery-operated, and easily portablethe Glass Sound Speaker connects with smartphones and other devices via Bluetooth. The Glass Sound Speaker will be approx. £800.
The Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector creates a new viewing experience at home, the 10cm cubic projector, despite its compact size is capable of throwing up to an 80” image onto table, wall or any other surface you want to bring to life.
Equipped with internal speakers and battery, the projector can be easily positioned throughout the home turning any surface into a virtual screen and workspace. A smartphone becomes its wireless controller to view content such as photos and video. Or use the supplied wireless unit to watch content wirelessly from your TV set-top box or Blu-ray player. The projector will be approx. £1,000 and can be elevated with the use of a separate floor stand, available for approx. £200.
Sony will have a Life Space UX stand at the designjunction exhibition, taking place during London Design Festival from 22nd-25th September.
This will be the first time that both the Glass Sound Speaker and Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector will be showcased in the UK. The Sony stand will provide an insight into the transformative home experiences that are made possible by Life Space UX.
