Sony today announced that over ten million pieces of 3D content has been viewed on “3D Experience” in the last six months worldwide.
“3D Experience” is a free, on-demand streaming service available through Sony’s 3D capable BRAVIA LCD TVs*2, 3D capable Blu-ray Disc Players and Blu-Ray Disc Home Theatre Systems*3, offering an environment where customers can actively discover and enjoy 3D content. The service launched in July 2011 in five countries, and is now available in 60 countries. It currently has over 50 titles with plans to expand to 100 titles by Spring 2012*4
“3D Experience” offers an extensive range of promotional video clips and trial content such as movies, music, sports, PS3 games and documentaries all in stunning, high-quality 3D. It also includes highlights from Sony Pictures Entertainment’s unreleased blockbuster titles such as ”The Amazing Spider-Man™” and Arthur Christmas™”.
